Measure labeled ‘Job Creator’ by California Chamber of Commerce

SACRAMENTO – Gov. Jerry Brown today signed into law a Sen. Ted W. Lieu bill that significantly enhances California’s economic growth and global competitiveness. 

SB 1402 improves and extends the Economic and Workforce Development Program through the community college system, and more than $22.9 million was appropriated for this program in the 2012-13 state budget.
