Sen. Lieu hails gubernatorial appointment of college classmate Goodwin Liu to state court

SACRAMENTO – State Sen. Ted W. Lieu, D-Torrance, today released the following statement in response to Gov. Brown nominating Goodwin Liu to the California Supreme Court:

“I commend Governor Brown for nominating Goodwin Liu to the California Supreme Court,” Lieu said. “We attended Stanford together and we lived in the same dorm for two years. Goodwin is a remarkable individual with a remarkable career.  His talents, wisdom, and compassion will serve Californians well.”
