Join Us Sat, Oct 3 - Hispanic Heritage Month Community Event

Friends & Neighbors,

Please join me at our 3rd Annual Hispanic Heritage Month Event – Saturday, October 3, from 10 am to 1pm – at the Fremont Wellness Center & Community Garden, located at 7821 S. Avalon Blvd. in South Los Angeles. This free event is held in partnership with LA County Supervisor Holly J. Mitchell, Assemblymember Sade Elhawary, LAUSD, and UMMA Health.

This community event will honor the rich cultural contributions of Hispanic, Latinx, Indigenous, and Afro-Latinx communities through vibrant music, dance, and art. We’ll also have:

•    Live performances from local artists
•    Free food for attendees
•    Health screenings & wellness resources
•    Information booths from community organizations

To ensure a safe and welcoming environment for all, especially our immigrant and mixed status families, we are implementing comprehensive security measures in coordination with trusted community partners.

Por favor únanse a mí en nuestro 3er Evento Anual del Mes de la Herencia Hispana, este Sábado 3 de octubre de 10 am a 1 pm, en el Fremont Wellness Center & Community Garden ubicado en 7821 S. Avalon Blvd., en el sur de Los Ángeles. Este evento gratuito se realiza en colaboración con la Supervisora del Condado de LA, Holly J. Mitchell, la Miembra de la Asamblea Sade Elhawary, LAUSD y UMMA Health.

Este evento comunitario honrará las ricas contribuciones culturales de las comunidades Hispanas, Latine, Indígenas y Afrolatinx a través de música, danza y arte vibrante. También tendremos:

•    Presentaciones en vivo de artistas locales
•    Comida gratis para los asistentes 
•    Exámenes de salud y recursos de bienestar
•    Puestos informativos de organizaciones comunitarias

Para asegurar un ambiente seguro y acogedor para todos, especialmente para nuestras familias inmigrantes y de estatus mixto, estamos implementando medidas de seguridad integrales en coordinación con socios comunitarios de confianza.
